Diet counseling to improve cardiovascular outcomes is more important than ever, given a new federal focus on closing gaps in medical nutrition education, and the release of the 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
To keep up with the science (and the many patient questions we receive every day), RIACC has partnered with the award-winning Gaples Institute, an educational non-profit dedicated to advancing the role of nutrition and lifestyle in medicine, to provide chapter members with free access to “nutrition essentials in medicine,” an online, 4-hr self-paced CME course endorsed by RENOWNED nutrition experts and featuring:
RIACC members in good standing are invited to participate in the course that best fits their schedule and must commit to completing all four modules within the course, as well as a pre- and post- test of the course.
Note: Although each module is 1-hour, most clinicians find that they can complete these in under 1 hour, and then pick up where they left off to finish the others.
